Brief History


Founded in 1963, with the backing of Beppi Coro, Greg Sherman and Laurie Lehman, Warwick Goldsworthy started Opal Air
with a 5-passenger, single engine Cessna 205.

The first commuter airline license issued in Australia was granted to Opal Air in 1967.
